April Temple Trip

We have decided to copy our friends and do a family temple day each month. While we will still attend as a couple, we feel strongly that our kids need to develop their testimony of the temple at an early age. We also feel like this will impress upon them the importance of regular temple attendance. If we make it a tradition and righteous pattern at an early age, we know it will stay with them when they get older.Right now, Houston is our closest temple. We drive about 40 minutes and this is what we see. It has beautiful grounds!

These pinks and purples were AMAZING! This is what I hope to achieve in my garden next year.

On a side note, we're reading Matilda right now. Matthew calls Ms. Trunchbull, "Miss Trunchable." I can't help but giggle each time.

Also, our walk on Friday took us around this rather large pond. David immediately said, "Look Mom! There's fish and snakes and ducks and crocodiles!" What a boy at heart he is!

Ethan continues to be our wonder baby. He coos, he smiles, and he sleeps through the night with only one feeding in that 12-hour stretch. He's AMAZING!!!

Oh, and Matthew is catching on to tee-ball. He got someone out last weekend by stopping the ball and then tagging second base. He was so thrilled to come home with the game ball.

And . . .we're project-ed out. We will finish painting our room and then, we're taking a breather. Pics to come of our flower bed changes (Too bad the flowers don't look so great in them.).
