I am convinced SERVICE is the key to healing our hearts. We lose ourselves, forget about our woes, find others with more difficult circumstances, and take in a reality check.
When Tag got back from Iraq an apostle came and spoke to him and about 30 other guys from his unit. He said that exact thing. To heal from everything they had been through they needed to drown themselves in service (not his exact words). The way to heal is absolutely through serving others. I need to remember that more often.
