Road Trippin'

Our month of July has been INSANELY busy!!!

We packed up our bags and headed to Plano on June 30th. Then, we left for Rogers, Arkansas the next afternoon. We stayed there until July 5th. Then, we packed up again and headed to Albuquerque, New Mexico. And then, we headed to Gilbert, Arizona, where we stayed until July 12th. On July 11th, my grandfather passed away. So . . . I stayed with Ethan in Arizona, while Ryan drove the boys back to Plano in one day, and then, he headed back to Houston. He repacked, and then, he headed back to Dallas, along with 6 of his football boys, for the 7 on 7 Addidas Tournament. From there, he returned home a few days later. I flew home with Ethan on July 16th, and his parents drove our boys home late on the night of the 17th. They stayed one day, and then, returned home the next day. CRAZINESS!!!! And since then, Ryan has traveled back to Dallas for coaching school, and he's attended one other thing, but my brain is too frazzled to think of it. He came home yesterday from Dallas. Next week, he'll spend in the Woodlands all week for a continuing education function. And then, two-a-days and three-a-days start. After that, we head out one last time to Dallas for a farewell of a beloved youth and missionary. We are insane.

This man drove 4 hours to Plano, 5 hours to Rogers, 12 hours to Albuquerque, 7 hours to Gilbert, 15 hours to Plano, 4 hours to Houston, 4 hours to Plano, and 4 hours to Houston. Plus, this doesn't include the other driving. It equals 55+ hours of driving and a BAZILLION dollars in gas!

Considering how many hours we traveled, these boys did FANTABULOUS!!! This little one cried on and off for probably 30 or 40 minutes of the ENTIRE trip. That's amazing!!!

Shea & Jessica, thanks for opening up your home and generously allowing us to take over. The meals were wonderful, and we had a lot of fun. T-Man, thanks for giving up so many of your toys.
