169 Shouts From the Mountain Tops
Music On Father's Day, Ryan and I had the privilege to surprise my Grammy and my mother by singing the song we sang at Pop-Pop's funeral, "Come Unto Jesus." Before we sang, I explained why we chose this hymn, and what it meant to my family. I explained about my grandfather's richly abundant life and his goodness and example of fatherhood. I bore my testimony, and then, we sang. I hope we were able to honor him in an acceptable manner and that our family felt of our love. Music has a way of uniting people and providing strength in numbers, as our voices and hearts unite. It brings the spirit and peace. I'm grateful to have music in my life.
