Don't let his innocence full you! Absolutely, he is the sweetest baby known to man and completely pure and wonderful and nothing short of heavenly in every way, but we have some new "firsts" to add to the list. This little man has officially begun the art of manipulation (probably learned from his two older brothers) with a fake cry and a fake cough. It's actually really cute and quite hilarious, but I worry that one day the light is going to switch and David might be given a run for his money!
Speaking of which, this kid may prove to eat out Davey. We didn't think that was possible, but we're second guessing ourselves. He eats from me, eats a small bowl of oatmeal with fruit, some pureed fruit, and then, he has a bottle. Seriously?! The kid is getting chubbed.
To add to the list, Ethan has also started the "eating his toes" phase--along with everything else. It's pretty hilarious, because we'll be sitting somewhere and he'll want some attention. Then, he gets ahold of my hand or the strap on my purse and he's in heaven.
He's also starting to talk more. His second word was "dadda" and he said it yesterday. Please note, he said "mama" first. Also, he's playing with toys and needing to go places, but not quite there with the crawling yet (Yes! We're anxious to have him hold off on his mobility.).
We sure love this baby! Sometimes it's hard to put him down, because I just want to kiss him and not stop.
