17 Joyful Things

Family Walks Each Sunday and sometimes during the week, as well, our family strolls around the block. Sometimes, we'll walk further, but typically, we take about half a mile worth of steps. Anyway, during our walks, my boys always ask questions and tell me about different ideas and such.

Lately, these three want to hear about Disney World. And so . . . we talk about the rides. We talk about what special treat we will eat there in the park when we go--presently, they each want a gigantic cupcake with pink frosting. We talk about the picnics we'll eat in the parking lot out of our cooler and breakfasts at our friend's house or hotel. We talk about Ry's and my memories of going when we were kids. Sometimes, they ask about the parades and the lights. What characters will we see? How much money do we need to save to go? Etc, etc. The kids love it, and we love it too. The magic is already there.
